Since 1907, Salem Community Hospital has been committed to this historic city, founded by Quakers and home to Ohio’s first women’s rights convention. In 2008, the hospital opened a new surgery department with a 10-bed recovery unit and continues to implement a long-term information technology plan including electronic medical records, OR charting, medication administration, remote fetal monitoring and mobile workstations.
